As a creative director, Smith has developed brands, content, products, and visual design systems for an international group of clients. As a gallery director, Smith has organized exhibitions, participated in international art fairs, and produced endemic events for the past two decades. In addition, he has supported artists on a myriad of commercial and fine art platforms, including his series of specialized workshops for emerging artists. His commitment to arts advocacy manifests in his further education in the humanities and related projects.
Smith is the Director of Design for the Laguna Art Museum and serves on the Arts Commission for the City of Laguna Beach.
